Technorati What?

I would just like to share with my loyal audience of three that my technorati rankings have gone up from 685,000 to 384,035 in two weeks! What does this mean in terms of statistics? I think one additional blog linked to Discontents. So that means that if I can get just one more tag, I might move up to 300,000 or less. Now if I only understood what tagging was and how I get more tags, this blog might really take off. Thank you to Mel, Yukon Sully, Tim’s Blog, Aliens in Reno, Around Carson, and bitch lab (I still cant even find where she tagged me). And to the frequent commenters JD, sugafree9, and mrjerz. Take a bow. You get to say one day that you remember when Discontents was only ranked 685,000. Ahh, those were the days.

Now if I can just get people to start using my feeds then my feedburner stats would go up…….damn it, what’s wrong with you people? Don’t you know that I need stats? Can’t you help a minx out? Can I get a little recognition?

If there was any doubt that blogging inspires self-obsession before starting this blog, its completely gone now.

Myrna, feel free to delete this one, but it’s “Technorati” not “technocrati” Your link is broken.

Thanks for the mention. we’re very close, and I’ve been at this for a few years. What the heck does one have to do to get famous?

Duh. Thanks. I don’t know but if I had money for bribes, I would try that.

Hey Myrna!

I linked to you for Blog for Choice day. I listed all the people who’d written that day. Doable men and boy panties was my post for that day and it included a link to your post.

That’s one way to get noticed, I guess. You link to other people in the blogosphere. If they stop by and like your blog, they link to you and/or start reading.

Like I shall do later tonight!

Thanks bitch. (I just love saying that.) I sort of guessed it was regarding Blog for Choice. Anyway, I have a very dirty mind too, I’m just not brave enough to blog about it….yet. I really love your blog even though you used the word essentialist which is one of my bones.
