Once upon a time I dined at James Carville’s restaurant, West 24, in Washington D.C. Its now closed but it wasn’t bad–a southern inspired menu always works for the minx. Anyway, I took a family member who also happens to be a very well connnected Texas Republican there for dinner. What they say about the minx’s mischievous nature is entirely true. He also taught a course at Northern Virginia Community College (Alexandria Campus) on American Topics in Politics last year. Honestly, that is the coolest thing I’ve ever heard about him. Most people in his shoes end up teaching courses at places like Georgetown, George Washington, even George Mason–but not a community college. I just love that about him. And he was nice as pie when I met him at the restaurant. Even to my Republican tag-along.
