Interview With JoEtta Brown, Candidate for Assembly District 39

That crazy Tahoe-loving German Sven (Isn’t that a Swedish name?) interviews JoEtta Brown who is running for Assembly District 39. She seems like a great candidate. And guess what? She’s a member of Nevada’s religious cult that is opposed to raising taxes:

My constituents will be my only “special interest group”. I will always place the people’s best interest above partisan politics. I am fiscally conservative and will oppose any new taxes. I pledge to serve while adhering to the highest ethical standards. I am a supporter of businesses and jobs. I am for reasonable, smart planned growth. Through-out my professional life while I was working and busy raising our family, I made the time to be active in community affairs. From an early age my grandmother inspired and encouraged me to work to make a positive difference in this world. Now that I am retired, I have the time and energy to be a public servant. I need your support and ask for your vote to serve as your State Assemblywoman.

Show JoEtta some love, or at least visit her campaign site and give her a look-see.

Thanks for linking to the interview, Myrna, I just published part II here:

As for my name, yup, it’s of Swedish origin and mean “young man”. For some reason it was quite popular in Germany in the 1970′s. Maybe people were just in love with Sweden then (think Ikea and Abba…)

In case anyone is wondering where Assembly 39 is, this is Lynn Hettrick’s seat in Douglas County.

Best content I ever seen. Huge amounts of live feeds, high payouts. Realy cool.
