A Slew Of Misguided Letters To The RGJ Editor
- Mr. Escudero, Monica was an adult, the issue is really the cover up, Clinton lied, he sure did. I wonder if your problem with lies extends to those in Congress and the Bush Administration who have lied to Americans about the Iraq War? Oh, and I know its tough to hear this kind of thing, but North Korea never launched a nuclear weapon during Clinton’s administration. Remember what Harry Truman said about the buck stopping here.
- That’s right Janice Muzzy of Minden, the troops do deserve better. They deserve more complex thinking from the American public who can appreciate that fact that our troops volunteered to fight the war on terror, not the war in Iraq–although they may be one in the same now, they were not the same thing in 2003. And they did not volunteer to be used as fodder by an arrogant and stubborn administration in its ill-conceived and ill-planned attempt to influence the middle east at the expense of our foreign policy in other arenas like North Korea. I”ll say it for the twentieth time, our troops are not a partisan issue for anyone except people like you who keep insisting that those who don’t agree with you are traitors, cowards, appeasers, etc., because that’s the only way you can be right. You need a lesson in courage, courage to examine the facts, and courage to admit when you are wrong.
- And what’s a week without another threatening letter from the fathers’ rights contingent? So Mike Nance, are you saying that domestic abuse stems from inequality? The world of justice has no place for people like you. Oh, and why put “kid’s lives” in quotation marks? That’s creepy.
Russell Clark of Reno believes the world sucks because God was taken out of the public schools. Uh, first of all, when was God in the public schools? And second, are there really people out there that believe that a belief in God guarantees moral behavior?

When was God in the “pubic” schools? How dare you bling Freud into this!
I went to a very progressive school. No really, that is one of the classic typos. I can’t believe it took me so long to make it. And of course you would notice it. You’re mind is in the gutter. Bling Freud–that’s a pretty good one too.
