More Updates On Election Results And MSNBC Antics
- Derby/Heller: Washoe County in Derby’s only hope. As of right now, only 62% of Washoe county and 11% of Clark County precincts have reported. All other counties have gone for Heller, but Washoe is going for Derby 50% to 46% and Clark is running about even right now. Its going to be close.
- Gibbons/Titus: Clark County is Titus’ only hope. With 67% reporting at 49% to 43%, there may still be a chance but its also going to be a squeaker.
- It looks like David Bobzien is going to take Assembly District 24 with 55%. The lesson to be learned in that race is that its actually a good thing to show up at public forums and meet your constituents.
- I formally conceded on Question 7. I guess I’ll just have to become an alcoholic.
- And in regional news, it looks like Tester is going to pull it out. I hope Burns cries like a baby–just like Duke Cunningham.
Somehow, Harold Ford is losing in Tennessee but has become the darling of the country–at least if you are watching the pundits on CNN and MSNBC. He’s giving a great concession speech right now, especially if you believe in god because he keeps mentioning him. Better watch out Barack—Harold is officially competing with you for the most acceptable black candidate for a national office. White people seeem to like him as much as you.
Did you see Chris Matthews flip out over Hillary Clinton’s victory speech? My god–she clapped for herself! Its prepostorous. A politician clapping at a political rally? The nerve! And then he went on to make fun of Bill Clinton for being tall. Obviously, Matthews still hasn’t gotten over the Clinton presidency. Chris–it was 6 YEARS AGO! Have a drink.
Oh, and Jack Murtha is so ready to kick Rumsfeld in the teeth and become House majority leader.

Ok Discontents I need your help,
Does anyone know if a guy named Santa Claus was running for the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District? Seriously I need to know! If you look at the Washoe County web page and click on “Get the latest Washoe County election numbers”. Look on page 3 and you will see that Santa Claus got 19% of the vote!
So, was someone running named that?
Either way, I wish he would have won.
Interestingly, a majority in Storey County did vote for Q7.
