Tom Delay: Make My Day Punk Democrats

Tom “make my day” Delay is one fifth of the reason the Republicans are going to lose tonight (the other 4/5ths are Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Abramoff). Delay is the emblem of the lobbyist controlled congress–the same congress that the American people are kicking out tonight. He’s also clearly delusional because he seems to think he’s still running things, speaking in the present tense as he is.

Moments ago on MSNBC, Chris Matthews asked former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) about what he would do to “stop” the 110th Congress from investigating the misdeeds of the 109th Congress and the administration. “My only answer to that,” DeLay replied, “is make my day.”

If I were a Republican, I would have him gagged. Delay favored torture anyway so it shouldn’t be a big deal.
