Phony war? Last time I checked we had personnel, casualties, strategy etc….sure sounds like a real war.
I think he understands the culture but he also underestimated the difficulties post major combat operations.
So, once he’s a private citizen will he still have to appear before Judiciary upon Conyers’ subpoena? ‘Cause I think the gentleman from Michigan believes Rummy has some explaining to do.
Rory, there’s a difference between underestimating and not listening to your generals. Rumsfeld refused their requests for more troops over and over.
