Chancellor Rogers Is Back

To continue with the speculation about the political implications of the “we had a chancellor, then we didn’t, then we did” incident/s, um, just who “confidentially” contacted uber-Gibbons backer Patty Wade to replace Rogers and what on earth would qualify her for such a position? Isn’t the NSHE Board of Regents in charge of hiring a chancellor? Its certainly not the governor’s job. One gets the feeling that if he could, Gibbons would appoint Wade to be co-first lady. She’s already co-director of his transistion league, what’s another job.

My guess is that Whipple made Rogers’ letter public because some folks in state government (that Rogers insulted one way or another) have been trying to figure out a way to get rid of Rogers for a while. Sure, Rogers shouldn’t have sent the letter, but there is no way Whipple should have made it public–that’s just good judgment 101. His quote in the RGJ story about the public trust is nonsense. Since when has the Board of Regents ever worried about that?

Your spin is much more to the Kid’s liking, than say…the Gleaners

That dude is a total chode. When he first got his jobby job, he did it for free on an interim basis. He said he would never apply for the position… Now he’s back at it.

The part I hate about him most is his paper, the LVRJ, is the only one in the nation to refer to the University of Nevada as UNR in it’s sports scores. He really wants it to be UNR. So for that he’s a crap-ass. My daddy went to Nevada, and so did I. Where does he get off? I want him gone in the worst way.

I hope he stubs his toe.

I thought you were dead.

You aren’t that lucky!

Click on the Report No. 2 for 2006 and go to page 13, Sunbelt has a donation to the
Gibbons campaign for $10,000. There may be others or maybe not. The report is 72 pages long and I’m not done looking at it.

Donations always help when one needs to get a job back and have the Gubernator intervene.
