Can I Get Paid NOT To Host A Hillary Clinton Ad?
Taylor Marsh finally got her Clinton ad (of course, she also gets 10x my traffic). I have a feeling that I probably won’t be included in any Clinton ad buy anytime soon (even though this site gets as many hits as Nevada Today who snagged one). Plus I have had absolutely no relations with that man–Peter Daou that is. But what I really want to know is, how do I get on the list of blogs paid NOT to host a Clinton ad? That’s a great gig–who doesn’t like getting paid not to work?
Anyway, Chris Bowers got me all excited about this topic. Most of the time, I’m fine with not getting too many ads–I didn’t start blogging to make money after all–I’d be a fool if I did. And this is as much a placeblog as it is a political blog (if not more), so its difficult for me to try and earn money hosting blog ads, because I don’t focus on an exclusive niche like politics, technology, or entertainment. But I do expect to at least make enough ad revenue to make my expenses. Without some political ads throughout the year, I will be operating in the red.
Here’s to hoping R&D is included in the fifth or sixth, or even eighth round of Clinton ad buys. It wouldn’t be wise for Clinton to ignore half of a caucus state now would it?
