Historical Resources Commission might get more power
This article kind of goes all over the place, from preserving history to creating design standards that include a historic look downtown. You want to see a Historic Comission with some teeth? Check these guys out, and the power they yield over design standards. Maybe too extreme for Reno, but our Historic Commission definitely needs to be somehwere between where it is now and Pasadena’s.
