You Really Should Learn To Keep Your Pie Hole Shut Bill O’Reilly
I’m a little late to the party this time but that’s only because I am on hiatus. What’s a girl gonna do? As a blog reader, you probably know that Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly has been going after DailyKos because of few comments left on the blog. First of all, O’Reilly obviously had no clue what exactly he was dealing with–a regular David to his incredibly tiny Goliath–at least compared to his daily viewership. Its not a surprise to us that our good friend Robert Greenwald produced a movie about it. Is it me or is it completely laughable at this point that anyone takes O’Reilly seriously? His hypocrisy knows no bounds–even I’m surprised at how unhinged he’s become on this topic. And since I am a lefty blogger, I feel like its my duty to help spread the word and help O’Reilly keep generating the best publicity DailyKos and lefty bloggers like me have ever gotten.
What’s really going on here is that O’Reilly is slowly realizing that he is a dinosaur moments a way from stumbling into a tar pit. And what’s really tragic is that people who watch and admire the hate-filled rhetoric of O’Reilly is that it affects families and relationships as it has Rick Perlstein’s.
Ain’t it funny how Fox News keeps forcing me to team up with the Kossacks after I’ve made it clear that I don’t consider myself part of their party? I’m a progressive blogger, yes, but I’m not usually a joiner. But this is the second time that Fox News has put me in a position to take action against them. And just like the last time, the progressives are going to win. Again.

Progressive bloggers need be aware of why o’reily is bad. It’s because he is saying things with no real responsibility or credibility and therefor bases content decisions on what will generate more viewers or buzz. I find a lot of progressive blogs distasteful because they remind me too much of billy and his buddies rush and that skinny chick. The difference being that if I write a foulmouthed tirade on my blog I can tag it “PissyRant” and you’ll understand that I’m just feeling a little sandy.
Admit it. Every time you type in their (correctly spelled) names you’re counting the hits you get from those search terms.
Ultimately, if they quote comments as equivalent to a blog’s editorial content then they show that they don’t really understand what is going on here.

When I make a post strictly for hits, I usually cop to it right in the post (see the post on Ron Paul). In this particular case,if my first concern was getting hits, I would’ve written this post a week ago when it first came out. Come to think of it, if I wrote my content based on the number of hits I’d get, I’d do nothing else but post about Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, and I certainly wouldn’t go on a blog vacation.
Not only are “progressive bloggers” aware of why O’Reilly is really bad, I think anyone who doesn’t watch (or listen) to his show for pleasure is aware that he has no journalistic credibility. He used to host that tabloid show A Inside Edition didn’t he?
The reason I really made this at the time I did, is first, there is an association with the Fox News debate that was canceled in Nevada and that is one of my issues. Second, I was thinking about how the results of the survey below must be driving men like O’Reilly insane and I didn’t read about the survey until several days after the whole DailyKos thing started.
Obviously O’Reilly doesn’t understand what is going on there–thus the dinosaur line. That’s what makes it all so hilarious and pathetic.
