Reno’s Triple A Baseball Team Name: Reno Aces

According to the ultra scientific R&D poll, the name of Reno’s new triple A baseball team should be the Reno Aces which received 15 out of 36 votes. Sadly, the most negative choice, “anything but Reno Ramblers or Rustlers” was the second most popular answer.You guys have a cruel sense of humor just like me which is gratifying. I don’t feel so alone anymore. I can’t wait to throw peanuts at the new mascot. The more I think about the third place winner, Reno Marmots, the more I like it. It wouldn’t scare the children. We must think of the children!

Reno’s new AAA baseball team should be named:

* Anything but Reno Ramblers or Rustlers (19%, 7 Votes)

Aces is just so cliche. Let’s hope the people coming up with the name have a better imagination.

Hardly conclusive. You did not include “Silver Sox” on your poll. I’m quite certain it would be the clear winner.

Well, the Ramblers baseball team does have a precedent. Glad no one is interested in that name though…
