Nevada’s Version of Huffington Post?
NVPoliticker is here–I got an email announcement today asking me to send them tips. Uh, huh, right. Has anyone else noticed how similar NVPoliticker is to HuffingtonPost? The colors, the pundit/blogger’s photos, the format? Basically its a news aggregator with a small bit of local opinion and a freaky little mascot straight out of the Herbert Hoover campaign.
Who is this Wally Edge who knows so much about New Jersey AND Nevada politics–states that seem to have little in common save their mafia marred pasts? The people at The Hotline don’t know and Hotline is listed as a partner site.
At least Wally included a local blogroll. The mascot is horrible. I think we can all agree that I’m the winner in that bout.

Well wasn’t that interesting? I signed up and then it would let me post. I wanted to debate with the idiot on there who said Hillary will take Nevada but it wouldn’t let me. Very interesting.
oh, so Wally sold his NJ site to someone who added Nevada?

So it is with much pride and tremendous enthusiasm that I announce the sale of PoliticsNJ.com to the Observer Media Group, which owns the highly-regarded New York Observer. The Observer will move this site forward, and continue our emphasis on covering politics at all levels of government in New Jersey. I urge you to visit their website — http://www.observer.com — to read their extensive political coverage of state and national politics.

I’m gonna guess Mr. Edge mispronounces “Nevada.”
Same here. I registered but can’t post response
to articles. I don’t even see where I can initiate a
post. Wanted to start my “Mike Haley for Congress”
campaign there.
