- Best Veteran’s Day post: this naturally goes to Desert Beacon who runs the most well-informed blog in the state.
- Best Semi-original Artwork in a blog: it takes a real sort of sick genius to come up with something like the masterpiece “The Annunciation of Rudy Giuliani,” so its no surprise that Stanely Scandalmonger took this prize. Seriously, its so good that Bjorn the Houseboy and I have thought about kidnapping Stanley so he can be our artist in residence.
- Best transition in a blog post: The Beacon takes this one again for her jealously-inspiring transition from Bernard Kerick, Homeland Security, Dana Milbank’s Walk of Shame to house detention of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. “Speaking of gated communities…” Take a bow for that one.
