Political Attack Art

Controversy is brewing over an art exhibit in New York Public Library’s main Fifth Ave. branch that includes doctored mugshots of Bush Administration officials. The exhibit is called “Line-up” and features the work of artists Nora Ligorano and Marshall Reese and also includes audio clips of administration members. You know if they aren’t already that Fox News is going to be all over this.

That’s not art! These so-called ‘artists’ are actually from the future, and they’ve brought the huddled masses of America hope in the form of showing us the eventual fates of the criminals that duped the shallow end of the gene pool into giveing them power!

okay, they’re probably not from the future. But the rest of the above is true…..
Haaa, I’ll do them one better. In moment of anger, I photoshopped the heads of Bush, Cheney and prominent administration officials onto the bodies of the defendants in the Nuremberg docks. That’s certainly more appropriate than being arrested by the local municipal police department.
