Why Jon Swift Shifts The Minx into Top Gear
Have you seen BBC America’s Top Gear? Its a show about cars. I know, I know–it doesn’t exactly seem like it would be up my martini-swilling, city-dwelling, houseboy-owning alley–but there you go. After watching this clip from the show (hair flip to C3 Fun with an additional Marcia Brady hair flip to Jon Swift, who for some unfathomable reason added me to his stellar blogroll and posted a best of his blogroll post in which he posted posts from all the blogs on his blogroll. Ow. My tongue hurts after writing that sentence. Anyway, talk about nice. I wonder if Mr. Swift is single? He certainly has a nice vocabulary and the hair is to die for), I think you’ll see why I like it so much:
And do yourself a favor–visit Mr. Swift’s domain and sample the best of his blogroll. There’s some excellent bloggers out there.

Top Gear is almost appointment-televison for me. I just love the combination of snark and true love for driving. It also doesn’t hurt that Richard Hammond hosted another favorite show of mine, Brainiac (shown in the US on the G4 network).
“DODGEY” LOL!
This one’s a classic, for sure. Even better than the show they did pitting a (British) Land Rover against a Cadillac and some other American “imposter” (that other make escapes me, sorry. Google is NOT my friend tonite!)
Very surprising confession, Minx. Who would’ve thought?
WTF? He’s a conservative? Gets his news from Fox News and Rush?
Looked at the blog roll and there are more than enough liberals on there! Damn!
Mr. Swift is the kind of conservative I can get behind cause he pokes fun at Rush and his ilk and uses words like “schadenfreude”
Thanks for hair flip! Now that Jon posted all those great links to blogs like this, I have some heavy readin’ to do!

Mr. Swift certainly has a lot of links on his blogroll. It’s the only one I’ve ever seen that requires the use of a scrollbar to get through it all. I guess that’s not too surprising, since he promises to link back to any legitimate blog that links to his. It’s impressive, nonetheless.
It’s also a pleasant surprise to see that both his blog and this one have a link to “Writhe Safely” - one of my favorites for quite a while. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any other “normal” type blogs linking to a blog of that type.
