Giuliani Continues To Delude Self, Will Endorse McCain at Reagan Library

giuliani1.jpg

Rudy Giuliani continues on his cycle of self-delusion as he prepares to endorse John McCain at the Reagan Library, no doubt in front of the nation with the help of CNN, FOX News, and MSNBC News. Oh! The symbolism! The elegance of such a gesture! Who better to endorse Bush super-panderer and self and media-proclaimed “maverick,” McCain than the man with 9/11 Tourette’s Syndrome? In the crazy neoco fantasy of milking 9/11 as the true capitalistic venture it was always meant to be, Giuliani may have just pulled off the ultimate political hat trick. He raised millions of dollars, got tons of publicity as king of 9/11, and can now use it all to play Republican king-maker, make more money for his security consulting firm, and eventually get himself elected governor.

Combined with McCains’ future vice president, Mike Huckabee and the prospect of other candidates being awarded offices (Giuliani as Attorney General for instance), Giuliani’s endorsement of McCain could sway the paleocons like Pat Buchanan and the radio retard right overnight. So this can work one of a couple of ways for the Democrats. Clinton will definitely begin hammering us over the head with her national security bonfides and pointing out that Obama has none, and Clinton wins the nomination in John Kerry-like fashion because the DNC is convinced yet again that the Democrats can only win if we are “tough on national security (as if any American would want to be weak on national security). Or, we go the opposite direction–the Obama as Kennedy, McCain as a silver-haired Nixon direction. Another possibility is that the radio right retards and paleocons continue to support Romney and help him use his personal fortune, plus a few million here an there that he has raised, and flood the ad market leading up to Super Tuesday and somehow pull off enough state primary wins to neutralize McCains’ momentum. What do you think will happen? Who is a bigger threat as Republican candidate to the Democrats? McCain or Romney?

From that post, I’d say he’s not delusional at all. It makes him sound brilliant. Delusional would be him staying in the race. Delusional was him putting everything on Florida. Bowing out and helping anoint McCain could be a great political (and financial) move.

Yeah, I think that’s what I just wrote. Just wanted to include the idea of delusion to the title and post.

I’ll lay odds that Rudito Mussoweenie is on a beach in some banana republic (one with no extradition treaty with the US, natch) with his latest mistresses, courtesy of his campaign funds come November.

Why does Giuliani think that because he handled 9/11 like a Mayor should, that all of a sudden he is qualified to be president? Man, thank god most of this country didn’t listen to the babble coming out of his mouth. Sure, he made New York City a safer place, by using militant, sometimes rights-enfringing tactics to arrest anyone in NYC that breaths wrong. I don’t think that’s what is good for the rest of this country.
I have the honor of having Fox News and CNN blare in my office 8 hours a day, and when one sees the candidates speak that often, it’s amazing how many times Romney has flip flopped on issues for his own party. He seems desperate at this point, a little weak.
I give the Republican seat to McCain, unfortunately. I say unfortunately because McCain is much more of a threat to Clinton or Obama.
Someone in the caucus in my Hillary group told me if Edwards isn’t the Democratic candidate for president, then the country be electing another Republican for president come November. Her reasoning? The country may say it’s ready for a black or woman president in polls, but when it comes time to vote, in the privacy of their own voting booth, they will vote otherwise. I hope hope hope she was wrong.

I think he is the worst pirate I have ever seen.

I think my head’s begining to spin…

I can taste it: This go around is going to be really ugly (especially considering the running-mate factor).

Wow.
