Suspend Shuster? Suspend McCain.
I call bullshit on this one:
David Shuster gets suspended for that? Okay, he was a little bit out of line but come on–this is the era of “Pimp My Ride,” Pimp My Stroller, and PimpMyProfile. How in the hell haven’t Chris Matthews or Keith Olbermann been suspended multiple times if this is the standard MSNBC is setting? If Chelsea was not a young woman, was named Chuck, and was not the daughter of a former president, I don’t think this would have been an issue.
If you want to suspend someone, suspend John McCain from the presidential race for his previous joke about Chelsea Clinton. Now that was truly offensive. If nothing else, it shows he’s a mean little man and we definitely don’t need another mean little man as president. Presidential offspring should always be off-limits for presidential candidates.

This Shuster episode has been, imo, a trigger allowing the
Clinton supporters to vent more freely their distressing emotions.
Best they get it all out now. I feel that it’s healthy for them to vent over something like this. It’s just a trigger that allows an “acceptable” venting.
Dan Abrams has been very vocal in defending the Clintons, btw.
Chris Matthews was made to apologize for ….well, speaking the truth about the historical rise of Hillary Clinton’s popularity. That rise followed the exposure of her husband’s misdeeds.
I never did understand Shuster’s perspective on this. (It wasn’t the first time he voiced criticsm about Chelsea Clinton’s lobbying of superdelegates.) Since a lot of us plan on lobbying superdelegates, why can’t she?
Shuster was suspended because the Clinton folks blackmailed NBC (threatening to never participate in debates hosted by them). Also, I think the “boss” (Dan Abrams) favors the Clintons.
