Do You Support BO?
Do other people besides some commenters on the Las Vegas Gleaner refer to Barack Obama, a candidate they seem to support, as B.O., the initials many Americans use to refer to the physical condition of Bromhidrosis, or “body odor?” Does the Obama campaign need to do some grassroots work here? If supporters are calling Barack Obama B.O., what are McCain supporters calling him? I shudder to think. Is associating Obama with something that causes people to hold their noses worth saving yourself from typing three more letters? Obama supporters–speak out!
I don’t care what Knox says in comments, spelling Obama’s first name the Hebrew way is not disrespectful, just careless. What can I say, I loved Exodus. Anyway, I corrected it.

Yeah, they are being disrespectful and they know it.
Speaking of disrespectful, is there a reason you continue to mispell Barack Obama?
I would say its more careless than disrespectful. I guess I’m spelling it the Hebrew way. I blame Leon Uris’ novel “Exodus.” Anyway, I don’t know that I’d go as far as disrespectful, but its funny.
It’s like Surfers who talk about “waxing their stick”, or Rockclimbers “jamming in a crack”, or seafood fans “getting crabs”.
It’s funny the first ime, but quickly fades away to every one but Beevis and Butthead. No offense.
“B-A-R-A-C-K-O-B-A-M-A” is a bitch to text.
