Quote from fist-fighting, anti-government extremist Tony Lesperance, new head of the Nevada Department of Agriculture, in a press release sent out on Friday, March 14th. I would link to it, but, unfortunately, the last press release on the NDA website is the announcement regarding the appointment of Lesperance’s predecessor from April, 2007.

It’s not as if anyone can claim that they don’t know what to expect from Lesperance.
Putting an anti-government activist at the head of the state’s least powerful agency is a nice touch of irony. Maybe this Gibbons guy will work out after all.

Wild horse advocacy groups in Northern Nevada were given absolutely no warning about the new policy regarding removal of the largest wild horse herd in the United States. OK Tony, you drew the line in the sand….
