A day after blaming public hysteria on the media, Gov. Jim Gibbons has announced he will ask for the resignation of the three members of the Board of Medical Examiners who have connections with Dr. Dipak Desai, owner of the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada. He is also asking for the resignation of the board’s executive director Tony Clark (corrected) and has ordered the chief of the Bureau of Licensure and Certification to be removed.

Further, he apologized for using the word “buffoonery” in describing press coverage of the health clinic scare.
