Click Here to Help Victims of Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar

In the aftermath of Cyclone Nargis – which struck Myanmar on May 3, washing away entire communities – conditions remain dire for millions of people. Food and water shortages are rapidly increasing risk of disease, and more bad weather threatens those who have survived.

Oxfam, through its three partner organizations in Myanmar , has responded with direct aid, but we need your help – especially given the scope of the disaster. Our partner organizations have already been able to help more than 68,000 people and are spending more than $100,000 a day. While the funds we’ve raised are getting through, they are not yet sufficient to the task at hand and for the rebuilding work that will be needed.

With death tolls climbing – the latest count puts deaths above 120,000, with 500,000 homeless - Oxfam is urgently looking for support. Click here to donate now.
