THURSDAY: NEVADANS TO HOST 150 PARTIES TO WATCH SEN. OBAMA’S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH
More than 2,000 Nevadans have RSVP’d for watch parties

More than 2,000 Nevadans have RSVP’d to watch Sen. Obama’s historic speech tomorrow when he accepts the Democratic presidential nomination at Invesco Field in Denver.

In all, more than 150 house parties are planned statewide tomorrow in Nevada. All parties begin at 6:30 p.m. Highlights in Northern Nevada include:

Reno:

UNR Student Union, BALLROOM A, Reno
NOTE: This will include mostly UNR students and young voters

El Salvador Restaurant
517 Forest St., Reno
NOTE: This will include many Hispanic voters

Flowing Tide Pub & Grill
465 S Meadows Parkway, Reno
NOTE: This will be one of the larger parties in the Reno area, with 70 RSVPs as of today

Sparks:
Wagar Home
895 Sage View Dr., Sparks
NOTE: Several veterans are expected to attend this party

Carson City:
Chuck and Melinda Crisman Home
1634 Buzzys Ranch, Carson City

Elko:
Atherton Home
1702 Winchester Dr., Elko

Yerington:
Hosted by Pat Fietta and George Lemaitre
South Lyon County Democratic Office
37 N. Main Street, Yerington

Fallon:
