More National Journal Bloggers Poll Reactions: The Clintons
Tuesday’s question for the day for the National Journal Bloggers Poll was “Which Clinton, Bill or Hillary, will make the stronger case for Obama in their convention speeches?” The Left of Center bloggers went about 17 to 4 in favor of Hillary Clinton–the overall thinking sees to be that Hillary Clinton needed to make the case for Obama so that her supporters would stop all this foolishness about possibly voting for McCain. By the way, let’s just call out the journos on this one–the war between Clinton supports and Obama supporters is really a non-story–it’s time to stop clouding the airwaves with lazy journalism. I think you’ll find the Left of Center comments to be largely truthful and not all positive. On the other hand, asking Right of Center bloggers which Clinton will make a stronger case for Obama is like asking a kid whether they want chocolate or strawberry ice-cream. How can they be expected to choose? It’s really not fair. Somewhat surprisingly, the Left and Right bloggers are not too far from each other votes wise–comments are another story. Here’s a couple just for fun:
“Hillary can’t lie as well as her husband.”
“For some reason, she now commands the emotional resonance.”
“With fingers crossed behind her back.”
I’ll write about today’s poll tomorrow. Hopefully, I’ll be able to upload videos tonight including one I took of me and Craig Newmark (yes, that Craig Newmark) getting massages in the Huffington Post Oasis.
