Live Blogging First Presidential Debate In Reno: Part 1

Epic fail so far. Its hard to hear–thanks to Street Vibrations–and hard to see. So we’ll see how well this works.

McCain? “This is the end of the beginning.” The beginning of what?
McCain: “Something happened.” Is this the something noted above? Oh, it’s “accountability” Would that be the kind of accountability that entails cooperating with ongoing investigations in Alaska by your running mate for instance?

Obama: I hate American workers who John McCain says are the strong fundamentals of the economy that he keeps saying are strong over and over like a record player.

McCain: “Get spending under control. Earmarks are are a gateway drug!” Duh, that explains a LOT about Congress!

Obama: “Earmarks my ass! I’ll take your earmarks and raise you your proposed $300 billion in tax cuts for Donald Trump!” I will love the middle class like my own children.

McCain: “I’m the sheriff of this here debate my friend!”

Obama: “$18 million dollars is a drop in the bucket of the mess you call a deregulated economy.”

I have had 500 drinks already. Damn you Wonkette drinking game!

Obama: “McCain is a big, well, little liar and we all know it. Your health care tax loop holes suck ass! You already own 200 houses, you don’t get to own the collective ass of the American people.”

McCain: stall, interrupt. Those those damn insane crazy man tactics again—he’s getting to good at them I almost don’t believe him. He’s crafty alright.

Obama: “We all know my tech policy runs circles around you–if we’re honest John, you don’t even UNDERSTAND my tech policy.”

McCain: “Look at the dirty liberal hippy on stage with me!”
