Chrissy Mazzeo Files A Lawsuit Against Gibbons

The Chrissy Mazzeo case always needed to get to court so that witnesses are forced to answer some questions under oath and I just found out that Chrissy Mazzeo is suing Jim Gibbons, Sig Rogich, the Metro Police Department, attorney Donald J. Campbell and her former friend, Pennie Mossett-Puhek, alleging that her rights to due process and equal protection were violated. Here’s a quick reminder from the Sun article:
After Mazzeo got out keys to her pickup truck, she went to the restroom. Gibbons handed her a business card when she returned to the table. Gibbons and Rogich left the table and Mazzeo stayed behind for 15 or 20 minutes, before walking outside the restaurant and searching for her keys in her purse. That Friday the 13th it was raining, so when Gibbons appeared between two bushes at the north of the restaurant, it startled her, the complaint states.
“Are you looking for me?” Gibbons asked Mazzeo.
“No, I’m looking for my keys,” she replied, according to the complaint.
A governor lurking in the bushes in a strip mall has always been such a bizarre image. I can’t wait to see if Mazzeo’s attorneys can produce the La Quinta Inn clerk and policeman Ortega.
Don’t miss Scandalmonger’s excellent post on the subject–Stanley even has a bulleted list. I’m a huge fan of bulleted lists.

Everyone knows the Honorable Republican governor has done nothing wrong. Every October, democrats conjure some terrible rumors, framing Honorable Republicans, and make them seem like they are less than righeous in their persuits of providing the American dream to those they govern. Dispicable. B. Hussein and the democrats will regret putting our country at risk.
