The Prosectuion of Don Siegelman
Tonight on 60 Minutes Scott Pelley reported 52 former state attorneys-general have asked Congress to investigate whether the prosecution of Don Siegelman was a politcal persecution directed by members of the state and national Republican Party, including Karl Rove.
Doug Jones, Siegelman’s lawyer, summed up the extremely problematic case this way:
